How You Can Become a Millionaire

Fore note: This is a re-post from http://thegreatestnetworkers.com

Before you read this post, listen to this short [04:02] audio clip right away.

This one is Richard Brooke speaking about the “Wealth-building attributes of Network Marketing.” It’s brilliant and a classic. It’s included in the Audio Interviews & Transcripts.

Transcript
There just isn’t any other economic business vehicle where a person can get started for a few hundred or a thousand dollars, on a part-time basis and three or four years later, have a net worth— because of their residual income— in the millions.

Somebody goes to work on a part-time basis. Three or four years later, they’ve got a residual income of let’s just say $5,000 or $10,000. It’s residual, because of the way they built it and the company they built it in.

Residual meaning, if they chose to, or something happened in their life and they had to quit managing and driving the group, would their income at least stay the same?

Now in many organizations, many companies, it should grow. Why? Because at the lowest level in the geometric progressions, they haven’t built anything yet.

So if they start building out their next level, the organization just grew by three or four or five times. It should grow geometrically, but if just stayed flat, you would have residual income.

Five thousand dollars a month in residual income provides you with a net worth at today’s interest rates of $3-$4 million.

Under a normal interest rate scenario, at least $1 million. Ten thousand dollars a month, $2 million.

How do you equate that?

Well, how much rental real estate would you have to own, free and clear, no mortgages, to have rents net to you after management maintenance of $10,000 a month? You’d need at least $2 million worth of rental property if not $3 million or $4 million.

Or how much money would you need in equities, cash, bonds, dividend-paying stocks to get a five percent annual return? You’d need $2 million to get $10,000 a month.

Think about in the lifetime of people saving and investing and the risk in real estate and equities, the risk of investing in a company that one day “Forbes Magazine” and the President of the United States and “USA Today” and “Wall Street Journal” says is the next phenomenon in business.

Six months later they’re bankrupt, their stocks are not worth anything and people are going to jail. Think about the risks of investing in equities and real estate and how long it would take somebody to amass a fortune of $2 million.

For most people it would take a lifetime of discipline, sacrifice and very good timing and very good fortune.

You can do the same thing in four or five years in the right Network Marketing company with the right product, building it the right way.

Huge relationships with people, servant leadership, building an organization that at some point they don’t look to you anymore. They’re looking to themselves and they’re looking to their group. They may want you and appreciate you but they don’t need your leadership anymore.

When you’ve built that, you’ve built a net worth in the millions of dollars. There’s just no other way to do it in our society and our business model and our economy. It is light years more efficient and faster and more accessible to the masses than real estate or equities.

I just love the wealth-building attributes of Network Marketing.

Healthy Life Begins with Healthy Colon (Part 1)

Take care of your Gastro intestinal aka Colon Health!!

What goes in, must come out! I know some of you might think this is gross but hey, that's what keeps us going. We as a living organism must eat in order to survive. We eat because our body needs the nutrient in the food. What we don’t need, must come out from our body, thru place that I don’t want to talk about here…

But with the advancement of our species, many times we no longer have the full knowledge of what goes into our body because a lot of the food that we take is highly processed and contains stuff that you and I don’t even know how to pronounce! And many of these ‘highly technical’ ingredients are not recognized by our body, they don’t get absorbed and the worst part is our body doesn’t know how to throw them out!

Add that with the highly stressed lifestyle we had to go thru like boss is yelling at us, girl friend want to break up with us, children is running all over the place and refuse to do their homework, car in front is moving slower than a snail, and etc etc. With all these things happening around us, no wonder despite the medical advancement, chronic deceases are still the main cause of death in our generation…

Do you want to know if your colon is in good health? Let me give you a quiz. And no, there is no prize if you win..

If you have more than 3 no’s, then you might want to start paying more attention to your waste management department down there…

  1. Do you have difficulties going to the toilet?
  2. Do you take three types of vegetable and two types of fruits daily?
  3. Do you keep sitting longer than standing every day?
  4. Have you been skipping exercise due to busy schedule?
  5. Are you energetic and refresh throughout the day?
  6. Can you still put on the outfit that you have brought last year?
  7. Does your skin feel young and vibrant and full of elasticity?
  8. Do you have normal level of blood pressure, sugar and cholesterol level?

I know facts are boring but these important facts may very well affect your life!

  1. More than 80% of chronic diseases are caused by poor colon health.
  2. Cancers, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, obesity etc are causing us more trouble than ever before
  3. Colon cancer is a fatal illness after lung cancer.
  4. Various researchers had found that constipation is the main cause of colon cancer.
  5. World Health Organization reported that 90% of cancer cases are caused by environmental factors and improper diet.
  6. Genetic inheritance contributes to only 5-10% of cancer cases

Dr Norman Walker is referred to be the authority of Gastro Intestine Heath is this is what he had summarized:

“Bowel health is an aspect that cannot be ignored. Unhealthy bowel is the main cause of illness and it affects every one of body system."

Talking about colon, that’s bring up something that most of us don’t even know it exist in our body – the mucoid plague

What is Mucoid plague and how does it harm us?

Mucoid plague is accumulated stool on colon wall. It is associated with various kinds of diseases. Based on some medical studies, mucoid plague is a main body environmental toxin which can cause unclean blood, low oxygen level, malnutrition, unhealthy cell, thus increases the risk of forming fatty liver, diabetes, narrowing artery, cancer, tumor, aging, hypertension, skin diseases, arthritis, gout, gut bladder stone, kidney stone, bowel diseases, fatigue etc.

To sum it all up, these are nasty things and you want them out of your body!

In the next post, let’s talk about some ways that you can help keep your colon healthy and happy.

How to fight Procastination

Something that I found very useful....

5 Steps for Overcoming Procrastination

Author:

Michael Locklear

Millions of people struggle with completing goals and overcoming challenges due to the habit of procrastination. In fact, it\'s one of the most common personal issues that people seek help for. There are several reasons why people procrastinate or avoid tasks. They can range from simple, basic laziness to fear of failure, lack of confidence in your ability, or simply a strong dislike for the task at hand.

People commonly put off doing things because they don\'t know what to expect or what the outcome may be. They might fail, other people might laugh at them, they might look foolish, there may be a lot of stress, or any number of nonspecific anxieties. We all struggle with the fear of the unknown on a daily basis. It\'s the way we think and our perception of things that paralyze us and keep us in a pattern of avoidance. If you believe that something is unpleasant or distasteful, or that you\'ll fail if you try to do it, or if you believe that you will somehow lose something, you will probably make sure you never get around to it. In most cases, this only creates high levels of stress, or brings unpleasant circumstances. When you get in touch with how much pain you feel when you procrastinate, you can begin the first step to overcoming it.

Many people procrastinate because of a lack of motivation. To fight this kind of procrastination, you can set rewards for doing these undesirable things. If exercise is difficult, try giving yourself a reward every time you go to the gym. You deserve it for having persevered. Next time, you may be just that much more motivated.

For many people, procrastination consumes major amounts of time in their daily lives. Because of this habit, they don\'t get things done. This results in more stress, and more frustration. In the end, procrastination makes things far more difficult than they would be if you simply completed the task. Stopping procrastination means you can avoid all the pain of the failure procrastination causes.

Other reasons why people procrastinate:

  • A lack of faith in your own abilities

  • Fear of trying anything new because of past failures

  • Low self esteem

  • The goal is not associated with a reward

Procrastination is one of the most time-consuming activities one can engage in. It causes a great deal of stress and frustration. Here are five steps you can take to make overcoming procrastination simple.

Step 1: Find your direction.

Every time you procrastinate, write down the task you are avoiding and your justification for avoiding it. Keeping a record will help you understand how your attitudes are related to your procrastination. Then you can identify strategies to redirect yourself when you feel the desire to procrastinate. Always focus on the task you wish to perform and your reward when you succeed. Focusing on your reward is the most powerful way to overcome procrastination.

'If you don\'t know where you are going, you\'ll end up someplace else.'

-Yogi Berra

Step 2: Get focused

You can easily become overwhelmed if you try to do everything at once. Instead break your goals down into simpler tasks. Start putting them into action, one at a time. Start as soon as possible. Take time every day to work on your goals. If you find it really hard to get started on a task, try working on it for ten minutes. This will usually help you get some momentum, and help you feel like continuing. Start with a simple task first, and be sure to visualize yourself completing the task. This will help you to focus on the goal, and the reward you will receive upon completion.

'Most people have no idea of the giant capacity we can immediately command when we focus all of our resources on mastering a single area of our lives.'

-Tony Robbins

Step 3: Be aware of your thoughts.

The more you procrastinate, the more monumental the task becomes in your mind. Allowing limiting beliefs to control your actions becomes a parasite on your chances for success. You must confront your beliefs about yourself and the task, and face your fears. Instead of daydreaming about your failure, and all the things that could go wrong, and how hard it\'s going to be, fantasize about how good you will feel having gotten the task out the way,
how confident you\'ll feel when you complete it successfully, and how confident you will be about your ability to do the next thing. Keep your focus positive, and this will build a new attitude that will overcome all your limited beliefs, and defeat procrastination.

Learn how to separate your anxious thoughts from your realistic thoughts. Imagine the worst-case scenario. Then, make a plan to get back on your feet if the worst should happen. Chances are you would recover relatively quickly, and resume your normal life.

'Our attitude toward life determines life\'s attitude towards us.'

-John N. Mitchell

Step 4: Build your tolerance to negative emotions.

Fear and stress are normal. They come from being uncertain, or feeling threatened in some way. Most of the time they\'re just feelings, and there is no real danger. Courage is not the absence of fear, it is the ability to continue in spite of it. Courage is required to overcome procrastination.

When you persist in pursuing your goals, you build up your tolerance for stress and anxiety. In time you will feel more confident, more capable, and far less stress and overwhelm. When you don\'t fear the feelings of anxiety, you will procrastinate less.

Meditation is a powerful way to build your resistance to negative emotions. Major universities all over the world have found that it reduces stress and anxiety, elevates your mood, and improves your ability to focus.

Step 5: Take command of yourself.

Success always means going outside of your comfort zone. No matter how unpleasant the results of procrastination, the habit remains part of your comfort zone. One very important first step is to stop complaining about what you have to do. Nothing worthwhile is ever easy, and complaining only drains away your will to succeed. Focus your mind on all of the benefits you will receive from being successful in whatever you need to do. Keep your mind focused on how wonderful you\'re going to feel and all of the wonderful things that are going to happen to you when you are successful.

'Self-command is the main discipline.'

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Overcoming procrastination is not as hard as you might think. Once you take these five steps for overcoming procrastination, your fears and anxieties will melt away, and you will experience the many benefits of being in control of your life.

The Amazing Bamboo Tree

A friend of mine once explained to me how Chinese
bamboo trees grow.

(Not those cute little office ones you buy at Ikea,
I mean the “real” ones)

If you plant a bamboo seedling and give it proper
water, sunlight and nourishment in the first year
there will be no growth at all other than a tiny
little sprout.

During the second year, to your amazement, nothing.

The third year, nothing. You look around at all the
other plants and wonder what’s wrong with this
thing?

After four years of constant attention... still
nothing.

Except for a tiny sprout, your bamboo tree is no
bigger than it was the first year.

But then the fifth year comes around and when the
bamboo tree finally does decide to grow, what
happens in the next 4-6 weeks will astound you.

The tiny sprout you diligently cared for will grow
as much as 3 feet in a single DAY until it reaches
as high as 90 feet.

How can this be?

While the bamboo may not have appeared to be growing
at all during those first four years, it was growing
below ground the entire time, developing miles of
its massive network of roots, which would help propel
its rapid growth in year five.

This is what many people from the outside looking in
would call “overnight success.”

Developing your business is very similar.

You have to lay the foundation first before you see
big tangible results.

So for those who want success, don't just concentrate on the immediate result that you wish to get in the short amount of time. But rather focus on building that solid foundation like communication skill, influencing skills, product knowledge, industry knowledge and so forth so that when the time is right, your success is inevitable!!

Profits Are Better Than Wages by Jim Rohn

You know it is a bit difficult to get rich on wages, but anybody can get rich on profits. Profits change your whole attitude, even if you start part time—whether it’s part time on your entrepreneurial business, network marketing company or service business.

It can be a landscape business in the summer or hanging Christmas lights in the winter. It can be training, consulting or tutoring. It can be your hobby, such as painting, writing, crafts, woodworking, computers or cooking. But once you start investing even part-time effort into your own business, you will find how much more exciting it is to get up in the morning and go to work on your fortune, even if you’re only spending a few hours a week doing it. read more..

Escape the Rat Race

Do you know what is a RAT RACE? Wikipedia had this to say:
"A rat race is a term used for an endless, self-defeating or pointless pursuit. " It is usually associated with our J.O.B - dead end, going no where...

I don't know why they called it the rat race..kind of cruel comparing us human with mice, but it is what it is and I am here not to argue with that. Plus we have more important stuff to discuss --> Are you in a Rat Race? If so, do you plan to get out?!

Answer this question with your heart --> If for the next 5 years, you keep on doing the things that you are doing now, would you be able to achieve your dreams and goals in life?

If your answer is no, I want to tell you something. I want tell you guys is that I have found a way to escape the rat race (like escaping the Matrix!) and you can too.
